What is this site?

In looking around the community, we’re kind of fractured. Some of us are on Facebook, some on NextDoor and some are not online at all. Communications have relied on these channels, texts or the GulfPPM emails. Well, that seems silly right?

Not only do we need to be “in the know”, but we need to be less fractured as a community. The newsletter will inform residents of improvements, projects, new residents, news, events and board announcements. This is really a way for us to become more of a community and not just a bunch of people living behind a fence.

In time, we would like to have different groups to help out the community. What businesses do you own or work at? Do you work from home and might be able to help a neighbor when they’re not here? Lost pets and critical issues can all be done here without overwhelming your inbox. We’ll roll that out in time, but right now, it’s just to keep everyone informed.

If you have suggestions, we will have a place to do that too.

Ryan P Phelan

President, Kingsbridge HOA

I am currently the Managing Partner of RPE Origin , an exclusive email marketing agency working with enterprise companies in their strategy and execution of digital marketing. I’ve been in the digital space for the last 25 years as a global speaker, leader and advisor. I’m here with my wife Erika and her parents Toni & George. If I am not here, I am on the golf course or traveling the country.

Mark Russell

Vice President, On Newkirk

I moved to Kingsbridge in September 2020 and currently work for Brook Hollow Golf Club as the Director of Wellness and Aquatics.

My wife and I have 4 boys, all grown. I enjoy exercise, hunting, golf, red wine, bourbon and working in my yard.

I am trying to get into pickleball, but I’m not sure about yet.

Michelle Sherrard

Treasurer, The Resort House

My family moved to Kingsbridge in 2017. I previously worked in Investment Banking at Beal Bank, in Plano for almost 30 years. My husband Bill and I own and operate Wacobill.com Trailer Sales, located in Terrell. I have one daughter, and an amazing son-in-law who both work at our family-owned business and has recently purchased a home in Kensington. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing pickle ball and going on vacation. I have served on the HOA board for the past three years as Treasurer, and I look forward to continuing to help improve our community.

Derek Altoonian

Director, On Alvington

My wife, son, 3 dogs and I finished building our home in Kingsbridge about 3 years ago. We love to be outdoors, spend time with our family and vacation whenever possible! I am an owner of several businesses in Texas and New Mexico. I have been in the real estate/financial services/Sales space for over 23 years. I have also had extensive experience in the management of HOA's. I was the president and on the board for one of my homes in Arlington for numerous years.

E. Grant Marsh

I’m a Christian, husband, friend, & former Army Ranger. Currently serve as Senior Partner of the Marsh, Stone, Huang Group of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, maintain the CFP, C(k)P, CEPA certifications, with 25 years experience developing & preserving wealth while mitigating taxation. My wife, Joan, & I moved here in Aug ‘21 from Vienna, VA & absolutely LOVE living here in Texas!

Kris Grooms

GulfPPM Community Manager, EVP

I have been involved in Community Association Management for 16+ years and counting. In that time, I have had a direct hand in over 300+ Homeowners Associations and have had the privilege of working with the best and brightest the industry has to offer.

My wife and I will be celebrating 16 years of marriage this year, and we have two children, Ethan (11), and Elaine (8), and live here in Rockwall. I’m my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with my family, playing guitar, going to church, and all things creative.

I’ve had the honor of managing the Kingsbridge community since October of 2018, and the privilege of working with your Board of Directors in navigating the daily administration of the Association, as well as facing the challenges that occur from time to time.

Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

Currently, there are 3 members of the ARC that volunteer to review all submissions. A board member is also assigned to break any ties or provide counsel. We won’t say who they are cause this is a public site and it’s a secret. Ok, not really, but it is a public site.

We’re always looking for more to be on the committee, so if you’re interested reach out to Kris Grooms or any board member.
